Women of the Wild: Western Uplands Experience
Join Lauri (SHE Ventures) & Ashley (Girl Time Inc.) as they lead 4-day/3-night, 55 km hike along Algonquin’s Western Uplands trail this August.
We will have our very own Wilderness First Responder as a guide..aka Lauri! This is her zone of genius and passion! Participants will receive hands-on training to help them feel comfortable in the wilderness and plan their own backcountry adventures.
This unique experience will blend the missions of both SHE Ventures and Girl Time Inc. SHE Ventures is dedicated to helping women feel confident and capable in the outdoors by offering supportive experiences that teach essential backcountry skills and foster self-reliance.
Girl Time Inc. connects and activates women’s voices through movement, community, and writing HERstory. This experience is more than just a hike—it’s a shared story of connection, challenge, and celebration!

Dates: Friday, August 1st to Monday, August 4th (August Long Weekend)

Prior to the trip, each participant will receive an email that includes the trip plan, activity waiver, pre-trip questionnaire, meal planning ideas, gear checklist, and an information booklet with additional details and tips.

Refund Policy
REFUND Policy: There will be no refund option available for The Women of the Wild Experience. The time, energy and effort put on by the collaborating companies reserves the right to exclude a refund option. By registering & completing the intake form, you are signing complete acknowledgement of the REFUND policy and your adherence to the contract.
OPTION: In the case that you are no longer able to go on the experience, life happens, you do have the option to transfer it to another female friend. We, Lauri from SHE Ventures & Ashley from GTINC., would support and help you set this up.
